Finding your style

Finding your style

There is no question that following trends can be exhausting—whether it's purchasing products you never wear or realizing that trends often have a short lifespan. We have a solution for this: it’s called "Finding Your Personal Style." You might think, "This is hard! I don’t know what to wear, and my inspirations are influencers who look or dress nothing like I do."

This is a common concern, but what if I told you there are multiple ways to discover your personal style without necessarily following trends from flashy influencers? Here’s four tips on how you can  achieve it:

1-Be honest with yourself: whether it's colors, neutrals, accessories, or simply jeans and a white t-shirt, whatever you choose to wear on a daily basis should be because it fits you and, most importantly, because you like the way it feels and looks.

2-Don’t be afraid: I get it—some outfits you see on a mannequin can be intimidating and make you second-guess yourself. But don’t let that stop you! TRY IT! Finding your own style requires curiosity and a willingness to step out in public wearing something you absolutely love. Don’t let others or external factors decide what’s best for you. Life is short, so embrace what makes you feel fabulous. Do you, boo!

3- Get inspired by those who look like you—it’s important! There are countless influencers around the world, and you might find someone who shares your values and has a style that resonates with you. Get inspired by them! Often, we fall into the trap of imitating styles from celebrities or influencers simply because it looks great on them, but that doesn’t always mean it will suit our own personal style.

4- Wear whatever whenever: just like that unapologetically. Who says you can't wear white in the winter? or black during summer? no, no , no! If you like it, just like the portuguese girlies, wear it!
